Tribal Dance
At the start of the play Zeuss visits a psychiatric ward in the hope that someone can explain why his dreams of an ancient tribe are unfolding like scenes from a story. In this the opening sequence, the audience witness his initial dream. The music is composed by Gerald van Waardenberg and the choreography is by Villa Lemanu

Tribal Chant - Waka Journey
This sequence begins with a scene from Zeuss's dream where an ancient tribe evoke Koranauku, their guardian spirit, to save them from extinction. The following scenes introduce the various members of the Kurangi family. The final section focuses on Zeuss's daydream where Koranauku commences her epic journey. The use of digital projection and screens were used at both ends of the traverse stage to convey this epic journey.

Bruce's League Trial
Zeuss has spent Friday night walking the streets of his neighborhood. Arriving home on Saturday morning he is 'greeted' by Mum and advised that today is a very important day for the family as older brother Bruce has his rugby league trial.
Home and Church
It is Sunday morning, the day after Bruce's dramatic rugby league trial. Mum's frustrations continue to grow as Zeuss is not at home and Gran continues to be a non believer. At Church, the Minister runs a memorable service and Gran receives an unusual visitor.
Family Dinner
Zeuss has distanced himself from his family by not coming home on Saturday night or attending Church on Sunday morning. In her attempt to repair any family tensions Mum has invited Zeuss and his new girlfriend Pandora to dinner on Sunday night.

Gran's Dream
At the climax of the play Gran finds Zeuss in a coma at Middlemore hospital. She desperately wants to help her Grandson but isn't able to until she is visited in a dream by Pandora. Pandora sets Gran the challenge of stopping Koranauku who is travelling back in time with a critical part of Zeuss's mind. These final scenes use 'split stage' to give focus on the dying tribe that Koranauku must save from extinction.
